Morley's Final Catalogue: Not known from the UK in Morley's time. First found in the UK in 1962.

Recent Suffolk Status: Rare and very local. Possibly increasing. First noted in Suffolk in 1996.

Life history: Single-brooded.

Identification: A large greyish species of pug. Has a small black discal spot and no white on the thorax or wings.

Habitat: Forestry areas where Lime sp. have been planted, gardens, avenues of Limes along roads, woodlands with Small-leaved lime.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
